SLJ - Week 1 - Activity 3

Kia Ora,
Welcome back to the SLJ.
It has been a long time and its been busy for me.

So I couldn't really do any but i'm back but next week will get really busy aswell so that's why I'm doing it now.
So the activity I am doing today is :

I chose to do this one because I wanted to do a poem and it was fun to create and think of sentences.
And interesting to look at all of the different styles you could do.
And the link helped of what style and how to do it.
I will show you the poem in a google slide and I hope you enjoy:

See you next time

  1. Hey Grace!

I'm Natasha, I'm from Hornby High and I'm going to be checking out your Summer Learning Journey posts over the next few weeks. Awesome poem you've written here!

Good job showing an explanation of the task and stating why you chose to do it. I love the way you've displayed your poem on the Google slide too! Was that difficult?

If you're ever in search for new ways to display you're work, I suggest taking a look at Piktochart - it's free, and perfect for creating things such as your slide!

If you got the chance to go to the moon, would you take it?

Great job Grace, have an awesome day and I look forward to seeing more brilliant work from you soon :)

  2. Mōrena Grace,

Congratulations on completing another activity! I love the way you've presented this one - it caught my eye straight away. :)

While I'm here I just wanted to let you know that there's only one week left of the Summer Learning Journey. You shared some wonderful work earlier in the programme but I've noticed that you haven't been as active recently. Emma and I would love to see some more posts from you before the programme wraps up on the 24th of January (next Friday). There's still plenty of time to jump back online and have a go at some of the activities you haven't done yet. Remember, the more activities you do, the more points you could earn! :)

Have a great day, Grace. I do hope that I'll be seeing some new SLJ posts from you soon. :)

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey
