I'm back with another blog post for SLJ
Today I am doing if I could take my name what would I change it to?
If you didn't see my last blog post the SLJ is the Summer Learning Journey
And you do it so you don't go backwards in the holidays and you can win prizes and it makes learning fun.
So this is activity 2,
And I was free this morning so I decided to do a blog post and some comments but we had to go.
But I hope you enjoy this.
And I hope you like the name too.

ReplyDeleteI really liked how you explained everything clearly and the animation which you made was also very creative! I like how you explained why you wanted that name too!
This reminds me of when I did this and I didn't want to have my name changed because I liked my name. I also included the meanings of my name too because the reason why I don't want to change my name is mostly because of its meanings.
I think that you did an awesome job but maybe you could include the meaning, but did a great job!

ReplyDeleteI like that you chose to show this off in a animation to show what name you would want.
I personally would want my name to be something different that no one has just to be unique. If you check out my blog, I decided that I would be Clover.
To improve you could add different letters into the blender because it doesn't really make sense otherwise.
Would you change your last name as well?

Hi Grace! My name is Mia from Yaldhurst Model School. WOW! Amazing work! I loved your animation, I thought it was creative and entertaining. I also liked the name Alison, it's really nice.
ReplyDeleteI chose a name that can be in Japanese and English, I chose Lily. I tried to choose a short name, but I sometimes like long names like yours because you can have a nickname. Do you like nicknames?
There really isn't much to improve on, but maybe you could add some more color or detail to the animation to make it more interesting!

I really like the name Lily I think its a pretty name and its can be in Japanese and english.
I don't mind nicknames but it depends what it is.
Do you like nickname ?
I thought for a nickname for Alison could be maybe Ally or Ali

That stop motion animation was amazing. It was really creative of you to make the name go into a blender and then come out with the name that you would like to have. That name is really amazing.
By the the stop motion animation would have been better if you have speeded up the timings.

What a cool slide you have created. I love that you made it a blender to mix your name up, what an awesome idea! Did you enjoy creating it? Did it take you long?
You chose a really lovely name that you would change your name to if you could. I don't think I could change my name, I would get so confused! Do you think you would get confused with a different name?
