Free write!

Kia ora , Im Grace from YMS. This week I have made a free write its still in the making so its not completed so there maybe some spelling errors.
I made the story about the rain , it's a disease  in the rain and she goes into when its raining , hopefully you will get it when you read it. When your reading maybe you can think about what improvement and guess the ending?
The rain in the forest

     Dear Mum,

Today was the scariest day of my life and  couldn't tell you.

Firstly I will explain what happened but first you're probably thinking I went into the forest and a scary monster and I ran but no , this is a bit more information of the voices in the forest.

It will started as I was exploring the forest next to the lake.

I was the girl in the bubble I didn't want trouble , but for one time I broke the rules and went over the spark france. I was climbing and climbing to the top and I my heart was pumped and my chest was screaming. My nose was running . I climbed over the fence , I even left a note to dad

“ Dear dad I’m just going to the forest I'll be back, well maybe “

Dad was at work .

He was always at work and I always just st so I did a change .

As I was in the forest I felt free and the leaves crushed as I walked proudly , I walked to the tree and sat down. I felt free for onst , I felt the closest to my mum I believe you're up there.  

I started to walk and I hear the worst noise is was like nails on  a corkboard , But a big bang and a lock , ran to the big mental gate and it was hovering all over the trees I was locked .

My nose starting to bleed and my heart pumped and was frigend for my life , but I thought couldn't breathe with the dust and dirt curling up like a tornado  .

I wasn't ready to die oh not today .

I knew what my dad worked for , there is something in the rain .

The forecast was raining  The sky was cloudy and open wide to the sky.

It's a disease in a rain .

I started to cry and I lost hope.

This was the end .

But I remembered I got on my phone , The underground tunnel like for this purpose.

The first rain drop started to fall. I wouldn't like much I didn't want to stay , My heart kicked in and I ran.

It was so close , as I closed the door underneath , the raindrop fell into the door.

I opened my phone and it was a live of my best friend , she said it's raining I love rain < But this didn't stop her it landed right on her skin and she dropped down screaming , I couldn't watch < I dropped my phone and cried my heart away .

This was a good place to be in this solution ,

I got my phone and it was the news

“ Everyone stay inside , there is something in the rain under everyone sircomestn you have to stay inside”

I remembered that I left the note on the just hoping my dad will get home .

He gets home at 4.00 pm it was 3.30pm I waited and hoped into my shoulder .

It was time my dad was home ,

He looked at it  .

I could him scream in horror like he was right next to me.

He got his gear on and ran into the forest and ready to fight anything,

I was just drowning myself into my tears,

“ please dad find me “ I said in a whisper ,

It was a knock on the door ,

I ran up there in excitement I thought it was my dad .

It wasn't , it was someone screaming in horror I couldn't look and shut the door , I just stayed there in my own sorrow

Colour day

Kia ora, last week was colour day for YMS. This was for what happened on a friday in christchurch. So for rimu class did a response , What is a response?
 So you could make a poster a movie or whatever and say nice and kind words for Christchurch's sad day, so it was our response to what happened. I did my one with Maddie,😊

This is what the message said " Even though we are going through this tough time try to smile, This is not pulling us apart but pulling together, no matter what happens we can't dwell in the past. Move forward , never look back . You're all precious.All of the YMS'S love goes to those who need it. this as a country does not make us bad, we are NZ kiwis , and we stick together. we did a poster that has a message and drawings. Plus for Yms on color me day you had to bring a golden coin and we fundraised around 450 .

Long write

Kia ora!
So this is my long write , that I have finished today. This was was the photo that was have to make story out of


I made mine about the series of unfortunate events. This was the start of the story that the teacher gave to us : It was the dead of night.

All that could be heard was the muffled beating of the creature’s enormous wings as it soared through the inky-black sky. Behind it, at the end of a frayed length of rope, sat the coachman. Coat wrapped tightly around his broad shoulders, his mission tonight was a straightforward one: to escort the two strangers to Castle Midnight. It all seemed straightforward to him. Even if it wasn’t, he always did as the Master bade. No one ever dared to disobey the Master, especially on a night such as this…

This was easy to start because they already had something to start it with.

we in the back as people would say  the strangers,

Maddie and I was cooped in the smallest place ever, The mission was the couchman to go back to the castle, But Maddie and I was getting the special sugar bowl they stole and to see what inside the sugar bowl.

The couchman didn't know we are in the back. It was so tight I could feel Maddie breathing on me.

It was time to set the mission it was a dark spooky , hoorified castle.

I stood up after the couchman left, “ CLEAR” I said screaming in a whisper.

The sand felt as it was grabbing onto me and killing my foot. It was like the kettle was boiling over your foot. Maddie stood up and walked to the the petrising jail door.

Now pay attention to the 3 letters i'm going to say “ Please go away.”

It was locked of course it would of been Grace , Maddie said.

I got a grabbing hook and climbed up the tower of nothing but sadness and anger.

The rocks fell as I put my foot into the rockhard wall.

Maddie was behind me.

Before I start to get in the tower I wat to say why I want the sugar bowl and what's in it.

Firstly when our mother and father died inna fire , count olaf the master stole it.

It was a very rare sugar bowl. After my parents died they stole it , from burning down our house as we went out to town to get some things for dinner. Now carry now.

The rock fell into nothing but sand. I got to the top , the master was sleeping it was time to take it my broke the window. Climbed in, in glass. The sugar bowl said on the map is in he under tower. We causality went down the stairs into the underground tower. It was time whats the code , well the first question is what's…..

After I finished the code it was a tattoo on someone's foot behind me one eyebrow, It was count olaf. I got the sugar bowl and Ran past him as he said “ Come here you orphans “ As we were. We slipped down the rope and hoped in the car and the owl liftd, He said yelling out “ I WILL COME FOR YOU ORPHANS , THERE IS NOWHERE TO HIDE” that part was true. But it was time to open it . I lifted the lid, I couldn't bevelive , it's the stolen diamond that was my mums , she discovered back a long time ago.

It was finally mine . Well ours. Wait  where Maddie, Wait count olaf has her, I took put the diamond and put the lid back on, and went and got her we did a trade I gave him the sugar bowl and I got her back even though I took the diamond.

We got home and discovered the diamond even more. Mum would be so happy………

.If she was alive with dad, we didn't have anything we left everything's just for one thing the sugar bowl that we don't have maddie said, but I said we have the diamond.she said you got it  yes I said…… As someone else joined, my eyes were like a waterfall, I was crying because of happy tears, It was mum and dad, They explained everything how they got here, and Maddie and I showed mum the diamond, Mum said “ Yes you found it”

But look how did you find us, “ a little help witht that emous owl…….. And the owl smiled and flyed out……
